Piccolo Piatti/Pomona Cafe & Wine Bar

Found on a “busy” corner exiting Winthrop to Revere, this chic little cafe style restaurant will leave you far beyond just content! With its cozy cafe vibe and friendly staff you can’t help but want to stay all morning in some corner, flip your laptop open and get settled in. However with such amazing food you’ll be too distracted and too full to work. I ordered the eggs benedict with prosciutto and tomatoes coupled with a waffle for extra fun and I was left breath taken. The food came out looking so beautiful I didn’t even want to eat it! That first bite though led me to an amazing gourmet feast. The English toast was a crunch to perfection, the eggs impeccably poached, and the waffles were an absolutely beautiful golden brown color. With its great modern but warm decor accented with tropical colors and flowers this restaurant was truly a great breakfast escape from all the construction and commotion going on outside.

What a find! It's rare to encounter great Artisan Pizza and Italian Dinner entrees at the same restaurant. Well this is THE Place! Charming Olde World atmosphere and great service from Jacob! If this is too far, try their Swampscott or new East Boston location coming soon!! Buon Appetito!!

The service is outstanding, it was the highlight of our visit. Friendly and warm staff that make you feel cared for, and like they are glad you are there. Not a usual review I give to a restaurant, but it was a special experience. The manager even let me twist his arm to visit their new rescue pup that was on property during our meal. Great food and cocktails too. We enjoyed the intimate patio seating and had a lovey evening at Piccolo.

Went for breakfast - the coffee was hot, food was good and fresh, service was good, and the place is cute with a tropical vibe. Excited they are coming to East Boston. If I was to be picky and could form a wish list for this place it would be (1) larger omelettes (better if it’s an Italian frittata where the meat and veggies are mixed into the eggs not folded). 2 eggs is not enough for me. Maybe an option for 3? (2) have a breakfast plate that comes with pancakes. (3) offer French toast (4) the chairs are pretty uncomfortable (IKEA furniture).

Seriously the friendliest staff of any restaurant I’ve ever been to. Everyone that works there clearly loves what they do and are proud of the restaurant! Come by Piccolo Piatti for some amazing food and amazing people!

This Cafe is super. They serve with a smile good en tasty breakfast (among others pastry, pancakes & smoothies) and a good cup of coffee / cappuccino. The outside of he cafe is not that easily recognisable but the warm and nice interior makes up.for that easily.

Incredible food, atmosphere, service. A clear 5 stars all around. The quality of drinks is outstanding. Very fresh ingredients as well. Love every time we go there.

Popped in for a quick croissant and cappuccino, both were delicious. They had some light jazz playing in the background. The dining area is warmly decorated with lots of natural light, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend.
